LG had an impressive showing at the Consumers Electronic Show in Las Vegas as it unveiled the world’s most slimmest smartphone in LG Optimus Black. If you remember the specs of this impressive device, it had a dark side to it as it was Froyo enabled. LG ranks its yet to arrive Android Tablet better than iPad

LG’s Marketing VP Chang Ma scored an interview with WSJ and made full use of it. Ma while talking about the company’s upcoming Android Tablet, went on to brag about it being better than iPad and described the Optimus branded tablet being surprisingly productive and a surprise it was since there was no word on the characteristics of the Apple Tablet’s competitor.

Verizon to launch Android based LG,Samsung and Motorola Tablets in Q4

Uptil now, we had only heard of Verizon working on Tablets but we were never aware of the manufacturers involved in this interesting project neither we had any idea of the release dates. Verizon has changed all that as its CEO has given Q4 as the release date for the Android tablets.

But guess what you have heard the name of the device atleast one. Not so long ago, Windows Phone 7 ROM was released which brought with an unheard of HTC device named HTC Mondrian. This very device looks like to be HTC’s first Windows Phone 7 device as revealed by the curious and deep exploring folks at XDA.
