A couple of PlayStation Phones have escaped from the factory and went into hands of a poster who shared images of the handset, one of which showed the phone’s firmware number to be Android 2.3.

According to PocketLint’s sources who have inside information about the yet to go live PlayStation Phone, the PSP Phone won’t be attending the Consumer Electronics Show, which will commence on 6th January. The Android powered gaming handset is set to hit the retail stores in April.

Sony Ericsson developing two Windows Phone 7 handsets : Xperia X7 and X7 mini

One mobile phone manufacturer that has been missing from the newly launched Windows Phone 7 platform is Sony Ericsson not that I missed them or anything of that sort. Anyhow, based on the Sony Ericsson’s leaked slides it turns out that the makers of Xperia X10 are working on not one but two Windows Phone 7 handsets – Xperia X7 and Xperia X7 mini. Both the handsets are slated for a Q1 2011 launch.

Sony Ericsson refused to develop the Nexus One

We all know who manufactured Nexus One, HTC who else. According to Sony Ericsson CEO Bert Nordberd, Sony Ericsson (SE) was given the opportunity before HTC to manufacture the Nexus One which they to much of my surprise declined apparently owing to some brand thing. Oh so SE has a higher brand value than Google. Did you know that? This unique development was shared by CEO in an interview to a Swedish publication.
