Steve Jobs asks WSJ to ditch Flash for iPad

The days of Steve Jobs cursing and expressing his deep hatred for Flash are far from over. Apparently the Apple CEO is looking for companions in its anti-Flash campaign with Wall Street Journal being one of them. Gawker’s reports discloses Jobs asking WSJ to drop Flash for the iPad, while meeting with the news corporation in New York. This time he had more words in its vocabulary to reveal the ugly side of Flash as he called it a CPU Hog and a source of security holes.
CBS plans to cut iTunes prices for some TV shows

It looks like Steve Jobs efforts to reduce prices for TV shows on iTunes are finally paying off. Les Moonves, the CBS CEO says that they will be cutting down the prices of some of its TV shows from $1.99 to $.99. The CEO said this today in the company’s earning call.
Rumor: Steve Jobs to give a helping hand in his own biography

An authorized biography of Steve Jobs is in the works. Walter Isaacson, who happens to be the former managing editor of Time Magazine is believed to be the biographer of this book. The good news here is this, unlike previous occasions, Apple CEO is in a cooperation mood and will give a helping hand in the formulation of this book.

Apple goes after jailbroken iPhone users, stops signing iPhone 3.1.2
