Mozilla has just released Firefox 3.6 Beta 5. The 5th Beta for the next version of Firefox which comes out three weeks after the launch of Firefox 3.6 Beta 4 is available for download for Mac, Linux and Windows platform. It will not be wrong to consider this version as a stable, security and performance improvement release as it brings fixes for more than 100 bugs.

Last week was a quite one for Firefox team. We were expecting the arrival of the release candidate (RC) for Firefox 3.6, which clearly didn’t happen. Will it happen this week? From what we gather, Firefox once again won’t be able to deliver upon its promise. Instead, Mozilla’s browser team will be rolling out the next beta for Firefox 3.6. Infact, Firefox 3.6 Beta 5 has already been made available to the tester via Mozilla’s FTP servers. Preparations for public release of Firefox 3.6 Beta 5 is in its final stages and will be released pretty soon.
