Google has brought a new dialog, the Insert dialog and added it to number of its Google Sites. So what’s the whole purpose of this Insert Dialog. Insert Dialog represents a Google‘s effort to provide a dialog which allows you to view and insert your very own work that was done using popular Google services such as Doc, Spreadsheet, photos and so on.
The Insert dialog works by aggregating user created data from Google services which include documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms, calendars, custom maps, photos, bookmarks.
What this means is now suppose you are creating a document using Google Docs and want to insert a picture that is stored in your Picasa Web Album, you can do that.
Yes it is searchable, and the search list shows you the documents that you created using Google services.
Really a smart move by Google. Well done and keep these interesting things coming.
