If you follow Geekword regularly, you would have read a lot about the leaked HTC HD2 ROM for T-Mobile. Well guess what – HTC and T-Mobile officially made the announcement of Windows Mobile 6.5 based phone arriving in USA, during the CES 2010 event. Expect this beauty to arrive in America this spring. As it stands now, T-Mobile will be the exclusive carrier of the 1 Ghz processor powered phone.
HTC HD2 tops iPhone in top 10 phones of 2009 list

UK based retailer Omio.com has released a list of top 10 cell phones for the 2009 in which HTC HD2 has managed to secure a spot ahead of iPhone 3GS. Even thought the multi-touch enabled HD2 from HTC managed to beat the premium iPhone from Apple, HTC Hero got the honors of securing the first spot.
SSPL Beta released for HTC HD2 , loading unsigned ROM got easier

The genius lot at XDA have released a beta version of SSPL. The release of the soft SPL means now you can load unsigned ROMs onto HTC’s most successful device, HTC HD2. This software enables you to load unsigned ROMs onto HTC HD2 within a matter of a few mouse clicks as shown in the embedded video. (Download link and setup instructions provided below)
Google Maps for Windows Mobile 3.3.1 supports HTC HD2’s digital compass

Google Maps for Windows Mobile was recently updated to 3.3.1 which solved a Layers issue that caused the phone to crash. Besides solving the Layers issue, it turns out that it also brought support for HTC HD2’s digital compass. Yes, that’s right now you can use the digital compass on your Google Maps app for Windows Mobile.

Most mobile phone users seem to have developed a liking for HTC HD2. Would you believe me if I told you that Samsung Omnia 2 is capable of running an HTC HD2 ROM, a modified ROM for that matter? HTC HD2 has a scratch proof touch screen, can withstand horrible knife attacks

If there were any doubts of HTC HD2 having a plastic screen, then these suspicions should be thrown away as soon as possible.
