And as you can tell from the title of the post, the IE9 Beta was given a huge and world wide reception which led to the impressive stats of the HTML 5 supporting browser being downloaded more than 2 M times and that too within 2 days of its launch.

IE9 is not for Windows XP,says Microsoft

The title of the post is nothing but bad news for Windows XP users. Microsoft, while talking to The Register about the just rolled out IE9 Beta confirmed that the hardware accelerated Internet Explorer 9 won’t see daylight on Windows XP powered PCs. It’s as if Microsoft wants Firefox and Chrome to increase their individual browser market share.
