It was only a few decades ago that the world was unaware of the terminology ‘Internet’. Today, there is virtually no literate human household that may be devoid of this facility. The internet has become such a norm that the mere existence of man at a certain place without having been connected to the internet is though impossible.
About (2011) defines the internet as:
“The term Internet today refers to the global network of public computers running Internet Protocol. The Internet supports the public WWW and many special-purpose client/server software systems. Internet technology also supports many private corporate intranets and private home LANs.” (about, 2011)
Present day technological advancements have given a new meaning to the structure of knowledge management. The social web or web 2.0 as it is commonly referred to as nowadays, is a new domain of knowledge sharing and management that was nonexistent a few decades ago. These modern inclinations towards knowledge sharing and management on a social perspective have become increasingly popular as it has lasting effects that are crucial to an organization’s business environment.
The current age of information technology as revolutionized man as a whole. We now live in a structure of a society that is poles apart from what our parents lived in. It was not very long ago that there was no existence of the internet and people would not go walking around holding their latest smart phones in their hands regardless of many other responsibilities around them. The information and technology boom has bought many a things to life that include the usage of computing devices as the top most option at its list.
The internet has been a source of massive information and usability ever since it has been introduced into the society. The trendiest of the happenings in the human race so far, Internet has integrated itself within each and every individual may it be youngsters or elders. However the inclination of youngsters towards the internet world has been of a more concern.
Thanks to the internet, fashion artists of the modern technology oriented world of today have a wealth of portals available online to show their work. The world is going digital more and more every day and a fashion artist should take advantage of it by showing their work at all the digital forums possible. Creation of a digital portfolio can then be shown to client’s friends and galleries all over the world by making use of the most of web 2.0 and its affiliates.
Die hard fans of Internet Explorer will be pleased to know that today is the the day when they will finally get their hands on the final version of Internet Explorer 9.
Many of you will agree that Internet has become an integral part of our life be it for enjoyment reason or be it for work and business related purposes. Imagine living without internet? Now that’s not what you want to do? How about applying this whole idea on the smartphones which as the name suggests are getting smarter every day. Well I gave this possibility some thought and came across the conclusion which is reflected in the title of the post. The reasons which led me to this answer are listed after the break.
Opera Software has been true to its word and has released version 10 of its browser (probably today), it is a new version of software that has certain number of fans but has not been subject to a wider adoption in comparison to few of its rivals.
The company says Opera 10 brings better performance, a Turbo mode for slow Internet connections, support for a variety of Web standards such as Web fonts, and improvements to the Opera Mail feature. Company issued two Opera 10 RC (Release Candidates) for the free software in the last week, and spokeswoman Falguni Bhuta announced Monday as the day on which the final version will arrive (i.e 1st September)
Opera has been available for years, it is an alternative to Microsoft Internet Explorer, the second-ranked Firefox, and Apple’s Safari. It was pushed into fifth place with the arrival of Google Chrome.
Speed Dial feature, which presents an array of Web site thumbnails when a person opens a new browser tab, was first introduced in 2007. A similar feature can now be found in Chrome and Safari, and Firefox may add something comparable.
