This was on the cards wasn’t it? With the month of March, or the iPad month as I like to call it, just weeks away, we are getting some really juicy iPad 3 rumors. iMore, which keeps a close eye on Apple related developments has pushed forward a claim according to which the Cupertinos will unveil the iPad 3 on 7th March. How accurate is this claim? We answer this all important question in the next paragraph.
The coming of iPad 3 this year seems unlikely. According to J.P Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz, work on the next gen iPad is on, but we’re not going to see it before 2012. Read more about this report after the break!
Steve Jobs has resigned from his post of Apple CEO and has now been elected as Chairman of the Apple’s board. Steve offered his resignation to the company’s board on Wednesday and advised the board to choose Tim Cook, COO of Apple as his successor. One of the Apple’s board member on this occasion said “Steve’s extraordinary vision and leadership saved Apple and guided it to its position as the world’s most innovative and valuable technology company.”

Will these iPhone 4S and iPad 3 rumors ever stop? Apparently no, but here is what’s this latest rumor is all about. Macotakara has gotten information from unnamed sources that Apple will start selling the very actively rumored iPhone 4S and surprisingly the iPad 3 in October.
Last few weeks in the Apple world have begun with new and wild iPhone 5 rumors. Digitimes, who is at the thick of these speculation spreading games has begun this week with an iPad HD rumor and not another next gen iPhone rumor. According to the Taiwanese publication, the Cupertinos have put their foot on the accelerator in a bid to roll out the iPad 2 successor in the fall season.
Former Engadgeteers report that Apple plans on unleashing the next generation of iPad this fall which I am guessing is a September launch. What other things we know about the iPad 3? We answer this question after the jump.
Ever since Apple announced iPad 2 or even before that, there were some voices (1,2,3) which suggested that Apple would unleash the 3rd generation of iPad in the current year. King of rumors Digitimes who is the latest to promote this claim reports that the Cupertinos will start selling the iPad 3 in the month of October.
You just can’t have enough of rumors these days can you? Well, first thing to note here is that we are not sharing yet another iPhone 5 rumor. So you can breath easily now if you have become sick and tired of the never ending flurry of iPhone 5 speculations. Bloomberg reports that iPad 3 internal testing has started and it will be carrying the retina display.
With iPad 2 out and doing extremely well, it makes perfect sense to anticipate and predict what the next gen iPad will posses. Thanks to 9 to 5 Mac, we now have a chance to do just that. CPT, a Taiwanese Display vendors recently showcased the original iPad carrying their 3D prototype screen which requires 3D glasses.
One would expect rumor mill to go all crazy about iPhone 4S and iOS 5, due to Apple’s less than a week away WWDC event. But as it appears, this is not the case as Digitimes reports that Apple has started certifying component makers for the iPad 3 and will launch the iPad 2 successor next year.
