Something tells me that this coming week, rumor mill will be producing a lot of iPad related rumors and no it won’t be all related to the 2nd generation of iPad. Telegraph thanks to its unnamed source who works for a UK based telecom operator reports that Apple is planning to roll out a new iPad 3G model in time for the Christmas season. The thing that makes the yet to be made official iPad model unique is that it will become equipped with an integrated SIM card.

As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I regret to inform you that the just launched iPad 3G is not all good news particularly if you intend to use it for video watching purposes. From the hardware perspective, the iPad 3G model and the iPad WiFi model are similar. But there is one difference, the 3G model of the magical Apple Tablet has an AT&T chip to receive data over the 3G network. This is where the problem lies as the carriers are believed to be scaling down the video quality to lower resolutions.
