Well Well Well, have we got something for our iDevice users stuck on iOS 4.0.2 or what? Uptil now, we have been able to downgrade iOS only if we had the SHSH blob saved. All it did was took away the jailbreak capability of your precious iDevice and in return fixed the PDF vulnerability which should not be there in the first place. Anyways, if you are running on iOS 4.0.2 and want to restore to iOS 4.0.1 you are in luck as the Cupertinos are still signing the iOS 4.0.1 firmware. Steps to restore the 4.0.1 firmware follow after the jump.

Apple, at the start of this week rolled out iOS 4.0.2 which brought bad news for the jailbreak community as is quite often the case. The reason why I term this as bad news is due to the iOS 4 update patching the PDF vulnerability thus taking away the jailbreak capability of your iDevice except for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G.
