To avoid this from happening, the UK based operators have come up with an ingenious plan – sell contract free/unlocked iPhone in UK to stop the large proportion of consumers from deserting the operator and going to O2 which holds the exclusive rights to sell the iPhone.

When it rains iPad 2 rumors it pours. Yesterday we got to know from an analyst that the next gen iPad will support dual networks in GSM and CDMA. We now have another analyst in Brian Marshall of Gleacher & Co. who is telling his side of the iPad 2 story. According to the analyst iPad 2 is expected to see daylight in April.
