ProSwitcher 1.0 has just been released and is available for a free download from Cydia. ProSwitcher is an app that enables multi-tasking for your jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch allowing you to switch between the iPhone apps running in the background in a cover flow-like manner that is similar to the one offered in Palm Pre phones. The multi-tasking app presents apps in tabs much like you are used to in the mobile version of Apple’s browser, Safari. Windows Mobile phone selling like hot cakes in India, outshines iPhone

Windows Mobile has found itself India as a new market in which to expand Microsoft’s mobile business. This interesting information was extracted based on an interview given by Rishi Srivastava, who happens to be a consumer and online marketing officer of Microsoft India. The Microsoft India representative revealed that Windows Mobile is way ahead of Apple’s iPhone and BlackBerry by a margin of 3-4 times.

Rumor: Apple Tablet to be named iSlate

Apple has been in the headlines throughout the week for all the right reason. It won’t be wrong to declare this week as an Apple rumor week. To add to the rumor collection, another rumor has surfaced, this time MacRumors is the contributing party. It seems that Apple will be calling its Apple Tablet, iSlate. The owning of iSlate domain by Apple has led to this belief. Apple purchased this domain back in 2007. Initially the owner name was hidden, which eventually became visible two weeks after its purchase.

Recently, there has been much talk about the possibility of Apple unleashing the next generation iPhone, iPhone 4G in 2nd half 2010, but little is known as to what will the new things that the next generation iPhone will bring. We believe we have the answer – iPhone 4G will become equipped with a 5 megapixel camera, according to a report released by Digitimes.
