Vodafone UK to start selling iPhone from 14th January

Vodafone UK has decided to join the iPhone carriers party in UK. It will start selling Apple’s premium gadget, iPhone from 14th January. Users can get their hands on iPhone 3G and the speedier iPhone 3GS for £35 and £45 respectively, on a 24 month contract. Via this package users will get freedom from all the other tariffs. SNL attacks iPhone and AT&T, uses Google Phone as its weapon

We said that the attacks on iPhone and its exclusive carrier in USA , AT&T are far from over and we have been proven right once again. No Verizon hasn’t done the honors this time. Saturday Night Live (SNL) (telecasted on CNBC) is the source of the latest swipe on Apple‘s high flying mobile phone. Google Phone aka Nexus One was used as the attacking weapon by the folks at SNL. Not only they declared the Android powered phone from Google as an iPhone competitor but also laughed over AT&T‘s poor service. Here is what they said during the weekend update

Steve Ballmer fires an employee for not being Bing enthusiast and owning an iPhone

Bug fixes for Bing iPhone app already in the works

It has been less than a week, two days to be exact, since Microsoft launched Bing app for iPhone. And already the dedicated Bing team has started fixing a few bugs for the iPhone app. Now that’s customer service for you. The update is expected to hit the App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch owners. Here’s the cool part, the updated patch won’t require you to manually re-install or update your app, Bing for iPhone will be updated automatically. Issues that will be fixed are listed below.
