Less than an hour ago, we informed you about the Google Phone’s rumored retail price and launch date. Taylor Wimberly of Android and Me has shared a rumor which suggests, that the Android powered phone from Google will cost $199, not to forget that the search engine giant will be subsidizing it as well. To add to the excitement, Nexus One is set to be launched on 5th January and will be available for online purchase from Google.
Google partners up with T-Mobile to sell Google Phone

Google has partnered up with T-Mobile as part of its plan to sell Google Phone also known as Nexus One. Now, this doesn’t mean in anyway that you won’t be able to get a carrier-free edition of the Android powered phone from Google. Google will continue to sell it unlocked GSM edition online.
