It seems the tech world just can’t have enough of hacking webOS to run various sort of apps. Recently we informed you about the Fennec for Android ported and running on Palm Pre. Well here is another impressive piece of act from Palm’s webOS phone. The latest hacking effort has resulted in webOS running Open Office.
HTC has put on its thinking cap and has started analyzing the possibilities of building and owning their own mobile OS. The Taiwanese cell phone manufacturers up till now have designed and produced phones running mostly on Android or Windows Mobile. All this is possible due to webOS’s Plug-in Development Kit (PDK) that will be rolled out in San Francisco in the upcoming week at the Game Developers Conference.

Just in – Palm has updated its Facebook app. That’s right Facebook for Palm has been completely revamped and is available for all webOS powered devices. The app is available as a free download from the App Catalog. The app brings a useful set of functionalities (wall, inbox, photos etc) except one. All this after the jump.
