The hackers caused heavy damage to the company and also affected 77 million PSN users by illegally obtaining their personal information.
Hot on the heels of reporting the unfortunate PSN outage, we now have the official confirmation that PSN is indeed down due to some issue that is yet to be identified.
In the ‘latest stories’ of Sony intrusions, Sony Corporation told Dow Jones Newswires that their company has detected security breach at one of its music entertainment unit in Greece, while websites of Thailand and Indonesia were also reported to be accessed by some unauthorized personnel.
After sorrow comes joy, but in Sony’s case it is pretty much different – Sony’s recent intrusions that resulted in compromising sensitive data and caused company to bear elephantine losses was not enough for the company’s misfortune, because it has been hacked once again and this time it is Sony’s Thailand website that has been invaded by the hackers.
