Today is Windows 7 first birthday and what a year it has been. According to Microsoft the Redmondians have sold more than 240 million licenses of the rich user experience offering Windows 7.
Microsoft takes a shot at iPhone 4, dubs it as Apple’s Vista

Well well well, what we have here – Microsoft’s COO Kevin Turner has taken a shot at Apple’s troublesome iPhone 4 and has termed it as Cupertinos’ Vista. iPhone 4 might be their Vista were the words churned out by Turner which would have surely delighted Steve Ballmer if not the entire Redmondian team.

Windows 7 secures 10% of market share

Microsoft didn’t get it right with Vista, but they have got everything smooth and correct with the Vista successor, Windows 7. Windows 7 is off to a good start – there should be no doubts about that. NetMarketShare stats reveal that Windows 7 has managed to secure 10% of market share. This is simply fantastic considering the fact that it is only 3 months old. Steve Ballmer and Co will be happy to know about this. But this is not where the mission end does it?
