Inspite of that, Microsoft has started working on the next generation of Zune HD, as revealed by director James Gunn’s who saw the Redmondians mentioning the words new Zune.

A couple of days back, Zune HD 64 GB made an appearance at the official Zune site. With that appearance it was pretty clear that the 64 GB model was going to go live sooner rather than later. The big question of course was when will the media player arrive? Now we have the answer. Zune HD 64 GB is going live on 12 April and will cost you $349.99.

Yesterday, Microsoft unleashed the much awaited Facebook app for Zune HD. Unfortunately, it ran into a major issue as soon as it was launched, as the app was not able to connect to Facebook. Because of this issue, users are unable to view news feed. The good thing here is that the responsible individuals have acknowledged the issue and are working to fix it.
