Twitter and Vine
Twitter, the popular metroblogging arena on social networking paradigm just got a new platform for sharing videos on mobile domains. Currently available only on iPhone and iPod the service offers the facility to record 6 seconds or less long looping videos. This can be compared with instagram as the app is not mainly a video app and acts for like a gif based application.
The Vine app can be downloaded for free from the App Store. For other platforms the app platform is being prepared. Vine is neither too lingering nor is it an image. Sometimes you see some snapshots and you feel you want to know what may have been the whereabouts of that particular instance. Vine offers you just that. Six seconds are enough to record many instances and views if you are intending to use it for commercial purposes.
Mentioning Acquisition of Vine by Twitter the Co-Founder and GM of Vine mentioned:
Our companies share similar values and goals; like Twitter, we want to make it easier for people to come together to share and discover what’s happening in the world. We also believe constraint inspires creativity, whether it’s through a 140-character Tweet or a six-second video.
Now you can make all the short videos you may want and enable them to add expression to your 140 charactered tweets.
