Just now, ultrasn0w 0.92 has been released. ultrasn0w 0.92, brings a fix for the missing carrier name and logo bug for unlocked iPhone devices running iPhone OS 3.1.2.
This undesired bug occurred for users who unlocked their iPhone using PwnageTool 3.1.4 or later. After unlocking their iPhone via PwnageTool 3.1.4 or higher, users saw their respective carrier name and logo disappear. This was a bug that needed to be fixed and the Dev-Team has done just that.
Users are reminded that ultrasn0w 0.92 can only unlock iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS with baseband 04.26.08
Those who wish to upgrade to fix the missing carrier name and logo problem can do so by using ultrasn0w 0.92 from Cydia.
Steps for using ultrasn0w 0.92 to follow after a break.
