iPhone 4 unlocked

Here is the news that is surely going to please the iPhone 4 users who have been pissed off by the death grip issue surrounding the iPhone 3GS successor. iPhone 4 has finally been unlocked. planetbeing and MuscleNerd are the usual suspects behind this huge development.
This was rather expected based on Yesterday’s status update posted by MuscleNerd. But it was planetbeing who broke the unlock news via his Twitter account:
Looks like I now have an unlocked iPhone 4. :)
It took 8 days for the genius hackers to unlock the stainless steel phone and as they previously suggested, Apple did their best to prevent the unlock but they always say when there is a will there is a way. This development also marks the end of the hacking chapter for iPhone 4 as we now have both the jailbreak tool (Spirit) and unlock tool for iPhone 4 (ultrasn0w) ready and raring to be unleashed.
