If you follow Geekword regularly, you would be wondering why the activity has been slow and silent at your tech blog today. Well, here is the reason – Geekword was at the Bloggers meet up arranged by Microsoft Pakistan. The event went pretty good. It was mainly about Windows 7 and also about IE8. While there was so much information for us bloggers to grab, the one thing which surely made it to the headlines was the breaking news of the Urdu version of Windows 7 in work.

Naveed Bajwa himself unveiled this exciting news. From what we gathered, a software house in Islamabad is busy in developing the Windows 7 in our very own native language – Urdu.

So what are your views on this? Are you excited about it? Let the comments fly in.

Internet Explorer 8 is very good because it is as stable as Opera. I hate the previous versions of IE like IE6 because it hangs frequently. `
