bing-logoJust now we informed you guys about the unfortunate fire incident which took place on Friday at Seattle’s Fisher Plaza. We got more news in relation to that. The news is that various websites that went offline Yesterday were back online on Saturday. One thing which is interesting and unfortunate( if you are a Microsoft fan) is that Bing travel has not been restored uptil now (as we write).

Bing Travel, which was formerly Farecast stated in a message on the website that they are “hard at work to restore service”. For the time being, users are being transferred to Bing’s travel partner, Orbitz. In my opinion it is quite surprising that sites such as AllRecipes.com, Big Fish Games, Authorize.net and others were back online whereas Microsoft’s site is still offline.

Bing Travel, posted a message onto their site on Friday morning saying that they expected service to return by 5 pm that day. Sadly it has been more than 30 hours since the fire took place, but the travel site is still not back online.

My traffic exploded on Friday. I was so excited. Then I discovered it was all from people trying to get to Big Fish Games and came to us after finding the Big Fish site down.
