Verizon to launch Android based LG,Samsung and Motorola Tablets in Q4
When it rains it pours. Uptil now, we had only heard of Verizon working on Tablets but we were never aware of the manufacturers involved in this interesting project neither we had any idea of the release dates. Verizon has changed all that as its CEO has given Q4 as the release date for the Android tablets.
Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam, revealed that the US operators will be carrying the Tablets from LG, Samsung and Motorola which will hit the stores somewhere in Q4. The CEO also expressed hope of them getting Apple’s nod to carry the iPad eventually.
While the specs part for the announced Tablets is still missing don’t be surprised if you find these tablets running Android 2.2 with Nvidia’s Tegra 2 or Intel chips performing the processor duties. All in all, I expect fireworks in Q4 of this year.
