Rumor: CDMA version of iPhone 4 coming in Q4 2010
If there is one rumor that has been the longest living ever since I started blogging, CDMA iPhone is the one. No we are not here to present a summarized version of all the rumors that have surfaced so far. Instead the post intends to add one more to the growing collection. Latest speculation has the CDMA version of iPhone 4 coming before the end of 2010 – Q4 to be exact.
Digitimes are behind this latest rumor, which is not a surprise as they have quite often performed this noble duty. According to Digitimes:
Pegatron will also start shipping a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 to Apple in the fourth quarter and is currently using its plants in Shanghai, China to produce the products.
Are these just rumors or more than that? BGR has a rather interesting take on this:
Pegatron will be listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) on June 24 [...].” True or false, if your company is going public in a week, a few Apple rumors can’t hurt, right?
