Verizon announces iPhone 4, will hit retail stores on 10th February
Everyone was expecting Verizon to unveil the CDMA iPhone today and that’s what precisely happened today in New York. Verizon, America’s largest and most reliable 3G network announced their hosting rights for the iPhone 4 and will start selling it from 10th February.
The specs of the handset remain the same as before, 5 MP camera with LED Flash, Retina Display, HD video recording, gyroscope and more. The one thing that has changed obviously is that the stainless steel phone is CDMA enabled.
Here’s how the price plan stands:
- iPhone 4 16 GB ($199 on a 2 year contract)
- iPhone 4 32 GB ($299 on a 2 year contract)
The Verizon iPhone can be acquired from over 2,000 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores nationwide, online at www.verizonwireless.com/iphone, at Apple Retail Stores, at the Apple Store® (www.apple.com), at Apple Authorized Resellers, and by calling 1-800-2 JOIN IN.
