Verizon getting iPhone 5 in September?
Verizon Chief Financial Officer Fran Shammo while speaking to the Reuters revealed some interesting details regarding the next gen iPhone. Shammo revealed that they will be getting their second iPhone model the same time as their competitor AT&T.

Interestingly, he also said that the Verizon iPhone 5 will work in the same number of countries as AT&T’s iPhone. My interpretation of this statement is that the iPhone 4 successor will be a world iPhone which means it will support both GSM and CDMA networks. Moreover, the Verizon CFO previously hinted at the iPhone 5 being a world iPhone.
While Shammo didn’t disclose the release date for the Verizon iPhone 5, we believe that the iPhone 4 successor will go live in September. When do you see iPhone 5 launching and which carrier will you go for?
Recent rumors and leakages have led us to believe that iPhone 5 will be getting a larger 4 inch edge to edge display screen, 8 MP camera with a separate LED Flash and a dual core processor.
