Windows 7 iPhone sync issue resolved
Gigabyte technology rolled out a BIOS update Yesterday, which thankfully resolves the iPhone synchronization issue with Windows 7. Gigabyte calls this BIOS update as Beta BIOS. Gigabyte reveals, that the Beta BIOS resolves the iPhone sync issue and brings with it other enhancements as well.

The iPhone sync issue occurs when users attempt to synchronize their 64 bit Windows 7 on an Intel P55 chipset with the iPhone.
Number of users who downloaded the BIOS update from Gigabyte, posted on the forums that the BIOS update worked out perfectly and enabled them to sync iPhone with their PCs.The BIOS update resolves the iPhone sync issue for only those users who happen to own a Gigabyte motherboard. So if you happen to possess an Asus motherboard, then your luck just ran out. You would have to wait for Intel, Microsoft and Apple to come up with a solution.
Microsoft, Intel and Apple during the initial part of this week, stated that they are looking into the issue and will update the users as soon as possible. But clearly that is yet to happen.
Intel declined to comment on the BIOS update issued by Gigabyte.
