Microsoft demos Windows 8 UI for Tablet and PCs
We had a feeling that Microsoft will unveil the user interface of its most riskiest OS bet so far this week and we have been proven right. Microsoft has posted a video on its YouTube channel that shows the totally different looking Windows 8 in action. Video after the break.
The first thing you will note from the video is that the interface has been totally revamped and is now based on the simplistic Metro UI. The Start screen has now become a mosaic of live tiles. Each app is represented by its own live tile thus allowing you to get more out of the app with a glance rather than having to launch it and then getting your task done.
My initial impression of Windows 8 is that it’s an attractive operating system, one that I will love to install and use on my PC. What’s even great is that Windows 8 will work on Tablets, notebooks and netbooks as well which will please the non-tech users a lot.

Microsoft’s Operating system Windows 7 for PC is probably a success. But for mobile/smartphone it is a failure. As now all operating systems are going for more and more features and opportunities. Microsoft has created so much troubles for Windows 7 users of smartphone. I don’t know if Windows 8 gets successful in future or not.
