Windows Phone Mango update coming your way on 15 September

Here comes an update that all Windows Phone followers would love to hear. Winrumors citing WPCentral reports that Microsoft will start rolling out the first major update for Windows Phone on 15th of September.

Who’s the source of this information? Well it comes from a software developer who has direct links with Microsoft amd has distributed apps for Android and iOS as well.

While the Redmondians are yet to provide a precise release date for the update carrying over 500 features, they did say that the update would arrive around this time of the year. Looking at Microsoft’s dismal performance in the mobile OS arena, it would serve them pretty well to roll out Windows Phone Mango aka Windows Phone 7.5 update as soon as possible.
