XDA-Developers have developed quite a reputation of bringing good news  and valuable hacks for us. Just to build on that , they have shared the official Windows Phone 7 Series development documentation which is quite a significant once since it confirms some of the rumors (multi-tasking for  starters)which we discuss after the jump.

Here are the points worth noticing from the document for the upcoming Windows Phone 7:

  • Supports multi-tasking
  • Silverlight will be used to develop the UI.
  • XNA Framework will be used for developing games.
  • Will have services that will provide Access to cloud based service which includes Windows Azure, Windows Live for storage and notification purposes.
  • Multi-tasking is supported and has no limitation in the number of processes it will run.
  • Visual Studio 2010 and Expression Blend will be the development tools.

The good thing here is the fact that since Silverlight is used, we are rest assured to get a sexy looking UI. XNA Framework support indicates that Xbox Games will be coming your way which is one more reason to get all excited about the upcoming Windows Mobile OS.
