Official: Windows Mobile 7 is Windows Phone 7 Series

We are all expecting to hear from Microsoft about Windows Mobile 7 at the Mobile World Congress. But here is something you should know – there is no such thing as Windows Mobile 7, instead it has been renamed to Windows Phone 7 Series as uncovered by folks at Engadget. This interesting bit of information was hidden in the Windows Phone billboard right under the white stickers beneath the word Windows Phone. What does this point to? Find the answer to this after the jump.
The 7 Series is an indication and confirmation of a rumor which suggested Windows Mobile 7 coming in two flavors Entertainment and Business. Anyhow all this will be cleared on Monday when Steve Ballmer takes the center stage. So let us just wait for the official confirmation.
