Windows Phone Mango to feature a battery saver mode
Every single day, we come across some Windows Phone Mango feature (such as multi-tasking, Bing Audio etc), that makes us fall in love with Microsoft’s yet to go live mobile OS. So what option has been discovered this time? Well, Winrumors report that the version 7.1 of Windows Phone will feature a battery saver mode that will save the precious battery juice of your phone.
Microsoft demonstrated this feature at a German VIP Windows Phone Mango last week. The feature which can be enabled/disabled from the Settings menu saves battery life by disabling push email, background applications and Wi-Fi networks automatically.
Here’s what I like the most about this feature. The feature becomes live once your battery meter reaches a low state and stops saving the battery and enables all the disabled options once the battery is recharged.
