Date of Release

Splatoon 3 is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch exclusively Nintendo Switch on Sep. 9. It is now available for pre-order right now on Amazon, Walmart, GameStop and other retailers.

Free Splatfest Demo

You can play the Splatoon 3 demo now, but you cannot access the full game at this time. However, when the free Splatfest World Premiere event starts on Aug. 27,  you will be able to participate in Turf War mode for the new game.

Splatoon Switch OLED

Nintendo is releasing a Splatoon-themed Nintendo Switch to commemorate the release of Splatoon 3. Starting on August 26, 2019 you can get a Splatoon themed system with a dock, Joy-Con controllers, and an included game. You will have to spend $360 which is slightly more expensive than a regular console.

Splatoon-themed Switch Pro Controller

Nintendo will launch an Splatoon themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on Sep. 9. The controller will retail for $75

New Amiibo

Nintendo is also planning to printing earlier Splatoon Amiibo ahead of Splatoon 3's release. This includes figures like the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook figures.
